After a triumphant win at the
2003 Hackney Empire New Act of the Year competition, Matt became an instant success on the the
prestigious London and UK comedy circuit, a welcome regular at The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, The
Glee, The Stand, Just The Tonic ,Belfast Empire, The Hyena, Jesters, Rawhide, Laughter House,
Komedia, as well as university tours the length and breadth of the UK. He has performed to
festival crowds at Glastonbury, Oxford Truck and The Carling Weekend in Reading and Leeds.
He was a featured support act
on Marcus Brigstoke and Jeff Green's UK tours in 2005, and will open for Ed Byrne on his
forthcoming 50 date tour of UK and Ireland in 2006.
Matt's many international
appearances include The Laughter Lounge, Dublin, and gigs for both English-speaking and local
audiences in Dubai , Oman, Singapore, The USA, France, Austria and Germany.
Already an established fixture
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Matt has made numerous appearances at the renowned Late and
Live, Spank, BBC Stand Up Show, and Micky D's Phat Caves, to name just a few. He has appeared in
the line up of prestigious package shows Big Value and Hackney Empire's Cave Comedy, and in 2004,
shone in the critically-acclaimed 5 star sketch show Stickmen: Year One. In 2006, he brings his
hugely-anticipated first solo show Have You Seen This Boy? to the Pleasance Courtyard.
