Stand-up comedian Nik
Coppin has been entertaining audiences all over the world for more than six years. Since giving up
his previous life staffing on the London Underground, Nik has performed not only all over the UK
but also in France, Germany, Spain and Austria plus four consecutive years at the Melbourne
International Comedy Festival and appearances at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
Niks style is warm,
friendly, welcoming and fun
but his good humour belies a dark undercurrent of intelligent,
thought-provoking comedy much of it derived from his mixed-race upbringing (his mother is
English, his father from Barbados), current affairs and his encyclopaedic knowledge of wildlife,
which was showcased in his debut solo show, Spiders, Man!.
Nik can regularly be found on
the biggest stages in the country, including Jongleurs where he is a regular compere. His affable
nature and ability to bond with any crowd has made him a big hit all over the world.
